<p>This company is looking for a Medical Director who can provide high level scientific and strategic direction. The candidate should have excellent presentation skills and demonstrate a command of various therapeutic areas.  Experience working within dermatology, CNS, oncology, endocrinology, women&#8217;s health, and infectious disease is a plus.  In addition the candidate should be able to develop strategies and assist with medical writing.</p>
<p>Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Providing scientific and strategic direction for clients.</li>
<li>Supporting multiple-brand projects towards development of educational/commercial materials.</li>
<li>Using clinical expertise to benchmark client versus competitor products.</li>
<li>Reviewing current product literature and leverage information to support promotional claims.</li>
<li>Proving account team with new data from recently published clinical trials results.</li>
<li>Presenting new promotional materials to the client&#8217;s review committee for approval.</li>
<li>Working with Program Directors on all accounts to provide clinical, scientific, and strategic insight.</li>
<li>Developing clinical content for symposia, advisory boards and speaker development programs.</li>
<li>Collaborating with Program Directors to ensure that written materials meet client&#8217;s strategic specifications.</li>
<li>Acting as a liaison with physicians and clients.</li>
<li>Being hands-on with medical editing and writing.</li>
</ul>
<p>In order to qualify for this position you must have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Advanced Degree: PharmD, PhD, MD.</li>
<li> 4-6 years related pharmaceutical experience, preferably in the medical education industry.</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>
</ul>
<p>This position is located in North/Central New Jersey and will require travel.</p>

<p>The company&#8217;s value prop stems from their installed relationships with 500k+ physicians and HCPs, compelling third party ROI/outcomes, and cutting edge media capabilities. This client is located in NYC but the entire BD staff works remotely.  The Grant Development team is fully supported and complemented by a strong medical and grant writing staff who provide all needs assessments, grant proposals and submissions in an efficient and timely manner. This company did over 500 grant submissions last year and completed over 150 programs from start to finish</p>

<p><strong>OBJECTIVES </strong></p>
<p><strong>Project and Client Management (primary objective) </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The Account Director (AD) will be tasked with approximately 5-10 accounts, across multiple pharmaceutical/biotech/device companies.</li>
<li>The primary responsibility of the AD is to launch client programs on time, efficiently, and under budget. Requirements of each program:

<li>Manage all aspects of the programs’ multiple moving parts.</li>
<li>Manage and attend all client medical/legal/regulatory meetings.</li>
<li>Work closely with each project’s internal and external team members.</li>
<li>Work jointly with sales to ensure client needs are met, while not compromising the quality and integrity of this company and/or its products.</li>
<li>Prepare final report metrics to present to clients.</li>

<li>Always be mindful of up-selling and re-selling opportunities with clients.</li>

<p><strong>Service and Product Development (secondary aspect) </strong></p>

<li>From time to time, the AD team will be called upon to help in the creation of new materials for the sales team, and can include:

<li>Developing new business proposals and presentations.</li>
<li>Reviewing and editing sales created presentations and proposals.</li>
<li>Creating presentations for meetings.

<li>Highlighting our core value proposition and capabilities.</li>
<li>Preparing and researching for new business presentations.</li>

<li>Designing sales tools that clearly communicate the benefits of our products and services.

<li>Maximizing the efficiency of the sales team by arming them with a consistent suite of high-quality tools, ideas, and procedures.</li>

<p>This is a challenging role where the potential rewards are high. The objectives will be to identify and build new accounts, provide outstanding client service and grow business in existing accounts. <p><strong>Objectives and Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>The overarching objective is to achieve exponential growth in clients, account yield and overall sales through the development of accounts in pharma, from small to large.</p>
<ul>
<li>You will play a key role in building the client base for this company’s products and services in the US.</li>
<li>Responsible for selling and managing team and corporate subscriptions to this company in the US.  This includes:
<ul>
<li>Building new business from accounts that have not yet been penetrated.</li>
<li>Converting awareness into premium subscriptions at accounts that are aware of the company but have not yet upgraded to a premium edition.</li>
<li>Maximizing rates of renewal and revenue development through the building of strong relationships and by levels of service that you provide.</li>
<li>Identifying new prospects.</li>
<li>Responsible for selling multi-report contracts/licenses in the US.</li>
<li>Build strong and lasting relationships with pharmaceutical companies of all sizes.  This company recognizes the great potential that exists in securing deals with small to medium size companies, as well as with the top-tier players.</li>
<li>Assess feedback from team and corporate subscribers in order to identify new content or other opportunities to answer unmet needs.</li>
<li>Deliver exceptional customer service through customer dialogue and issue resolution.</li>
<li>Add significant value to this company’s international sales team through the sharing of knowledge, experience and information, and by promoting a consultative selling approach both internally and externally.</li>
