<p>Candidate is skilled in creating success through leadership, teamwork and innovation.  Much of her success is due to her unique vision for well science and business.  Brings the needs of the marketplace paired with her ability to identify and assemble the right cross-functional teams.  Forms strategic alliances (when applicable), while achieving business goals and objectives on the basis of profit and return on capital.</p>

<li>As a result of her work ethic and ability to cultivate a strategic network while individually driving, and managing a business development team, she organically grew business at this pharma company resulting in business opportunities with virtually every brand within their portfolio.</li>

<p>(Over 20 products, including vaccines, and supporting departments, i.e. Healthcare Systems Marketing, Advocacy Development, Sales Training, Marketing Training and Preceptorships, Market Research, Exhibits). This relationship speaks to her talent, integrity and commitment to understand, translate, leverage, and provide solutions.  All of which required the ability to manage external and internal expectations, priorities, and deliver-ables that achieved business goals that achieve corporate objectives.</p>
<p>In 1998, she was recognized for conceptualizing the need for and executed the 1<sup>st</sup> largest integrated CME initiative resulting in the following:</p>

<li>Single sponsored initiative developed over a decade ago has morphed into multi-sponsored, worldwide endeavor reaching over 1 million PCPs &amp; Psychs and today is still operational and is a worldwide recognized brand.</li>
<li>Changed the face of medical education in neuroscience and beyond.</li>
<li>Inspired and led internal teams to implement and deliver an endeavor that spans the spectrum of programs within an aggressive time-frame without compromising the program.</li>
<li>Recognized by two leading medical institutions for aiding in reshaping their internal medical education department and developing outcomes research department way beyond its time.</li>
<li>Capitalized on opportunity to generate sales and develop a robust line of offerings spanning medical education tactics:  national, regional and local meetings, speaker training, tele &amp; web conferences, and enduring materials and  successfully re-purposed format for 5 other billion dollar brands cumulative annual grants = $50 million.</li>
<li>In Neuroscience, this initiative was taken over by a KOL (faculty member), and she built a profitable business solely on the above mentioned program as well as received numerous educational rewards for design and implementation.</li>
<li>Heavily sought after and recruited by those directly related to the above program from pharma, medical institutions and faculty.</li>
</ul>
<p>In 2006, she accepted one of the above offers from a KOL, and was challenged with the undertaking of creating a promotional business unit with the goal of breaking old paradigms in promotional programming and elevating the integrity and physicians’’ perceptions of rep driven programs.</p>

<li>Results:  grew revenue from $300k to over $5MM within 1<sup>st</sup> year; achieved preferred vendor status from major pharma company within 6 months; increased headcount from 3 to 17 within 1<sup>st</sup> 3 months and almost double again the following 3 months.  Managed a bi-coastal team, and telecommuters remotely while continue to grow the business and implement operational processes and resources.</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This dynamic physician executive is committed to finding his next role as President or Managing Director for a medical communications group with broad offerings that can impact patient care. He received his joint MD/MBA from a top 20 medical school and his BA from an Ivy League college. He most recently led the strategy group, with 21 staff responsible for generating $70MM in annual revenues, for one of the world’s largest healthcare information properties headquartered in NYC.</p>
<p>Career Accomplishments include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Conceived and built a $10MM medical education sister agency to a $25MM online physician marketing agency over 2 years. Grew clinicians’ interest by offering ‘best-in-class’, clinically-relevant resources across a variety of media, creating a 400k+ membership database of healthcare professionals consuming 100k+ CME credits/year. Outcome of the rapid growth was the 2006 acquisition by the market leader in online marketing to the healthcare community of both patients and clinicians.</li>
<li>Upgraded an immature internet business model from delivering healthcare professional “eyeballs” to delivering revenue from Pharma/Device companies. Founded a team to both source and deliver on annual advertising revenue run rates which grew from $0 to $5MM/yr in year 2 and $10MM in year 5. Success resulted from designing a digital approach to clinical education and outcome measurement for practicing clinicians. Company acquired by an international technology holding company to establish a Pharma footprint in the U.S.</li>
<li>Established himself as an expert on effective medical communications through consistently publishing peer-reviewed articles and presenting in major conferences on both clinical and communications topics. Collaborative efforts include research and educational activities developed jointly with industry, government and academic partners such as PhRMA, FDA, CMS, AHRQ, ACC, the University of Wisconsin and others.</li>
<li>A natural leader of people, has been asked to serve in voluntary leadership roles in both a professional capacity as a Board Director and Treasurer-elect with the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (a membership organization of &gt;2500 individuals with clinical education responsibilities in academic institutions, professional organizations, hospital networks and medical publishers), as well as in a personal capacity as President of the Board Co-operative where he and his family reside in NYC.</li>
</ul>
<p>His next career move is one that will allow him to further improve patient care through broad and strategic communication and behavior-changing efforts which require visionary leadership. The ideal organization would allow him to “lead a sophisticated and diverse team with a patient-centric mission” to create value across a spectrum from individual patients to the organization’s clients to the organization itself.</p>
<p>As he currently is located in NYC with his wife and son, he is prioritizing opportunities there and in California, though with the right circumstances he is also open to relocation elsewhere in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia.</p>
